Kilcoo Camp

Since 1932, when Kilcoo was founded by Charles F. Plewman, thousands of boys and young
men from Canada and around the world have shared a certain magic on the shores of Gull
Lake in the Highlands of Haliburton. Kilcoo helps to build self confidence, social responsibility
and appreciation of others, but the magic really takes place when the sum of all the
experiences and friendships come together to create a most special time and feeling in our
campers' lives. So please, browse through our web site, and hopefully you will catch a
glimpse of what the magic of Kilcoo Camp is all about.

Miners Bay Lodge

Miners’ Bay Lodge, family-owned and operated since 1938, is a family-oriented summer
resort in the beautiful Highlands of Haliburton. Located approximately 2 hours north-east of
Toronto on highway 35, our 70-acre property sits on the shores of Gull and Round Lakes.
We are surrounded by lakes, there being more  than 500 in the county and these, along with
Haliburton’s wooded hills, make a most attractive setting for your holidays. Our summer
season runs from mid-June to Labour Day.

Lake Partnership Program

The Lake Partnership Program is a province-wide, volunteer-based, water-quality monitoring
program. Volunteers collect total phosphorus samples and make monthly water clarity
observations on their lakes.

Living by Water

If you’re a shoreline resident, we are committed to helping you obtain information to protect
your property, prevent problems like erosion, and protect water quality, fish and wildlife
habitat.

Eco Ethic

We are committed to manufacturing and distributing quality, leading edge, effective,
economical and eco certified environmental products. For cottage, cabin and country living.

Invading Species

Invading species are one of the greatest threats to the biodiversity of Ontario's waters,
wetlands and woodlands. Originating from other  regions of the world, and in the absence of
their natural predators or controls, invading species can have devastating effects on native
species, habitats and ecosystems.

CEWF
The Coalition for Equitable Water Flow

CEWF Mission Statement
The Coalition is seeking the implementation of an equitable water management policy for the
TSW that accords equal consideration, along with fair and just treatment, to everyone in the
entire Trent River Watershed.  Reservoir and flow through (RAFT) lake communities should
be considered equally with all other TSW communities where the policy applies to safe
navigation, access to waterfront property, economic sustainability and the avoidance of
negative environmental and economic impacts
